Nancy Evars has made award-winning and unabashedly chic spaces her calling card. In the process, she developed a reputation for designing gorgeous homes by bringing the most compelling furnishings, objects, and materials together in a timeless yet fun and fresh way.
Nancy got the decorating bug in her 20’s when she moved into one of her first apartments in Greenwich Village. Nancy spent more than 13 years practicing public relations in NYC, Denver, and San Francisco before completely changing careers.
Nancy’s love for decorating, along with rearranging every room she walked into, inspired her to pivot and start her own interior design business in 2006, followed by the opening of Evars + Anderson in 2011. After spending almost a decade growing her interior design business into a highly sought-after firm in the San Francisco Bay Area, Nancy’s entrepreneurial spirit reemerged. In 2020, after noticing a lack of resources for the design community south of San Francisco, Nancy saw an opportunity for a designer showroom on the Peninsula, and conceived Evars Collective as a shoppable multi vignette-style showroom, which includes a custom furniture line and a membership club for today’s creative interior design community.
Nancy lives in Atherton with her husband Scott and their three children.
