When I founded Evars Collective in 2020, my goal was to not only create a supportive community for interior designers in the San Francisco Bay Area, but to provide resources and services to help support their businesses. In the process, my team and I built the first trade only boutique showroom on the Peninsula, curating a collection of beautiful artisanal lines from around the world. I can honestly say, the last four years have been the most fulfilling of my 30 year professional career. But as a seasoned entrepreneur, I know when it’s time to make a change. 

Those of you who have followed me over the years know that I haven’t sugar coated the challenges the showroom has faced (pandemic, flood, move). Coupled with a change in my personal priorities, sparked after my mother’s passing earlier this year, I have made the decision to close Evars Collective (as you know it today) on October 1st.  

Evars Collective will live on in a new concept. While the showroom will be closing, The Club - our membership community for interior designers - will become the new Evars Collective. I have realized over these past few years that advising, mentoring and creating connections and opportunities for designers to level up their businesses while nurturing supportive relationships with other industry entrepreneurs, has been one of the most rewarding aspects of launching Evars Collective. I am excited to continue to build upon this program moving forward! 

Additionally, I will continue to take on design projects as I have time and keep providing fashion, travel, lifestyle inspo here on IG!

While Evars Collective wasn’t my first business venture, it felt the most ‘me.’ I’m grateful for all of your support, whether it was sourcing from the showroom, becoming a club member, hiring me to decorate your home, or simply following along on social media. It’s not lost on me that Evars Collective wouldn’t be what it is today without the support of so many of you. Thank you! 

There will be more to come on this in the near future, so please be on the lookout for news over the coming months. Additionally, we will be sharing logistical details next week regarding the showroom closing (last day we’re taking orders, inventory sale, etc). For now, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for your continued love and support!
